From first call to final walkthrough—here’s what to expect when you work with us.
We remove all debris — leaves, pine needles, shingle granules, and anything else — from the gutters by hand and dispose of it properly.
We flush each downspout with water to confirm it's clear and flowing freely. Stubborn blockages are cleared from the top or bottom of the downspout.
While we're up there, we do a visual inspection of the gutter system — checking hangers, seams, pitch, and end caps for any issues to be aware of.
We let you know if we noticed any issues during cleaning — sagging sections, failing hangers, or other problems — so you can address them before they cause damage.
In Houston and the surrounding wooded communities of Kingwood, Porter, The Woodlands, and Humble, gutters fill with leaves, pine needles, and shingle granules faster than in many other markets. When gutters clog, water overflows over the front edge — running down your siding, saturating the soil at your foundation, and seeping behind your fascia boards.
Regular gutter cleaning is simple preventive maintenance that protects your foundation, fascia, and siding. We recommend cleaning at minimum twice a year — typically in spring (after pollen and early-season tree debris) and in fall (after leaves have dropped).
Our gutter cleaning service includes removing all debris from gutters, flushing downspouts clear of any obstructions, and a basic visual inspection of the gutter system to flag any issues we notice while we're up there.
Overflowing gutters direct water against your foundation. In Houston's clay soil, this contributes to foundation movement and damage.
Debris-packed gutters hold moisture against your fascia and siding, accelerating rot and deterioration.
We inspect the system while we clean — catching repair needs before they turn into bigger problems.

At minimum, twice a year — in spring after pollen season and tree budding, and in fall after leaves have dropped. If your property has pine trees, oak trees with heavy catkin drop, or other debris-shedding trees, quarterly cleaning may be worthwhile.
Clogged gutters overflow over the front edge, directing water against your siding, fascia, and foundation. In Houston's clay soil, this contributes to foundation issues. Debris also holds moisture against fascia boards, causing rot, and creates a standing-water environment that breeds mosquitoes.
Gutter guards significantly reduce cleaning frequency — especially micro-mesh guards that block fine debris. But no guard completely eliminates cleaning. Some debris — shingle granules, fine organic matter, and roof grit — still gets through or accumulates on the guard surface. We recommend annual inspection even with guards in place.
